Results

Look up the treehouse, and there it is

Search Google for a treehouse cafe in Krabi, in English or Thai, and the cafe's listing comes up, with photos and a link to its new website.

Baan Ton Mai's home page. Over a photograph of the cafe's open timber building, framed by tropical plants and hanging lamps, the headline reads The Tree House Cafe, with the line By the river, hidden in the jungle beneath it. Three tags read Jungle cafe, Riverside seating and Krabi, Thailand, above an Explore button. The navigation offers Home, About, Menu, Gallery and Visit, with an EN and TH language switch at the top right. View full image

The challenge

Too far out to stumble on

The cafe sits in the jungle, far from the hotspots of Ao Nang. It couldn't move closer. The way tourists find it had to change instead.

A name in Thai. Baan Ton Mai means treehouse, but only to people who speak Thai.

A trip into the jungle. A visit means setting out on purpose, so tourists want to see the place first.

Seats up in the trees. The cafe had no website to show the menu, the way there or the decks over the river.

What we changed

A first look at the treehouse

Every piece was made for one person: the tourist who has never heard of Baan Ton Mai.

Making its case from the map. We optimized the Google Business Profile and added photos, so the cafe's own pictures sit alongside the ones visitors post.

The setting up front. We designed and built the site from scratch, and the treehouse and the river come before anything else.

Delivered work

For the tourist who just looked it up
